One of your favorites . . .

**thank you all for the comments! That is why I love you all so much!

**Chesley - your crazy! Don't you dare feel bad for your email!!

**Kraft! That is the brand I use for the cucumber ranch dressing for my {sooo good that if you put it on top of your head, your tongue would smack your brains out to get to it} potato salad! I seriously think that should be what I call it!

**I have a few emails I need to answer - get me through today's birthday party first! And I'll get to you! Promise! Okay?

back to the post . . .

I say that because so many of you say it is in your top 5 that I've done! I just got these pictures form Brooke - she obviously is a photographer. I met her through my friend, Krista, and she actually works in Krista's studio {this links to Krista's associates' site.}

The "yellow" room was the original wall color that was planned for this bedding. I knew this before I started the painting - hence the reason I kept it simple with barely any yellow in it! I like this look and once I met Brooke for the first time - I knew it completely fit her personality! And you all know, we decorate our nursery to fit "our" personality - since we don't know the baby's is yet!!!

She explained to me that it got old . . . . quickly. And honestly, I bet it did. There is some yellow in the bedding, but I think the walls are so much that you don't see it clearly. NOW, I'm not a decorator - AND I've made paint mistakes oh, . . . about 1,001 times - BUT I think sometimes we tend to over think the wall color. We will try to pull a color out of the bedding {or whatever it is we are working with} by painting the walls "THAT" color. In ones mind that makes perfect sense! It does to me - BUT check this out . . . .

I can guarantee that the yellow really stands out now! Don't you love this!?! Again - I like the before - but I love the after!!! The "after" is absolutely amazing! And so dreamy!

And just because I know you all want to see who sleeps in this room . . .

What's up Cutie McCute Cute!! Happy 6 month birthday, Averie!!

Thanks Brooke for the photographs!! Love them!!

Your painting was "made for" that after room! You just didn't know it.
So cute!

Although the yellow is BOLD and a neat technique; it doen't work in the nursery as well as the blue. I have the same bedding and did the blue as well ;) I hand it to her for re-painting though, I would have just left it because I HATE painting!

Happy 6 months baby girl!

To me "After" is more calming and tranquil which will surely make for peaceful nights for cutie-pie baby Averie and everyone else in the house.

I am catching up on posts. First and foremost--wonderful "Averie"-- as usual.
Secondly, you are one talented woman who is giving it her all. Remember to go easy on yourself, give yourself the grace you'd give to others. Your kids are going to be just fine, even if they do get a birhday gift later than planned.

It is good that you are re-evaluating and I will pray for you. Be strong, keep calm, and carry on! Ü

Hugs, Becky

I love the "After". It looks so peaceful.

The "Before" was kind of "in your face".
