I was on a {mini} roll . . .

Three posts in three days! Then I made the big mistake of telling someone I was about to do a post {during nap time!} I'm telling you, the best plan is no plan! But here I am {at 2:23 in the morning} determined to get a peeky on the blog.

I fell asleep with the kids around 8:30 tonight. I was asleep in the boys' room when I woke up all panicky - like I left something on the stove. I ran downstairs to see "what I forgot to do" and realized that nothing was wrong and apparently I'm a freak. I was headed to bed when I realized that the adrenaline rush totally woke me up. Then I remembered I didn't do the post! That must have been the reason for the "ohmygosh - I got to do something . . now, but - uhmmm what is it that I'm suppose to do" feeling!! Okay, not really - I think where I had this huge list of what I was going to do between 9 and midnight in my head and I was obviously thinking about it when I dozed, that when I woke up I was trying to get on my list, but just couldn't remember it?! Maybe? {Talking about a run-on sentence!}

So, my night is completely backwards.

The above picture is missing some embellishments {that I apparently don't have and just realized!} I just took the picture - and since the sun is not working on my schedule, the colors are a bit off. And I also just realized it's upside down! Talking about throwing someone off!? I was looking at it trying to figure out what part of the painting it was! haha!! Okay - maybe I'm still tired! I have to sketch something out - then I'm back to bed!

I have no idea why I just thought of this - but this was Hudson's original due date - it was suppose to be 05.05.05. Now, that would have been one cool birthdate! But meeting him face-to-face 1 week early wasn't bad either!

That's funny that you remember your son's original due date. I remember both of my kids original due date too! I guess when you repeat it over and over for 9 months it becomes part of your forever memory. :)

Oh man -- I can't wait to see this one!!

I have done that -- woke up in a panic. I hate when I fall asleep on the couch and Chad wakes me up when he's leaving for work -- at 4AM -- and it about scares me to death. SO much so that I normally have a hard time falling back to sleep!!!

There is something coming the mail for Hudson ~ considering he LOVES mail .... :)

OK, makes me feel better that other moms do that too. I totally have a list in my head of everything I'm supposed to do between the time the little guy goes to sleep and when I finally hit the bed. Sometimes, I fall asleep and can get back up in the middle of the night to do things, sometimes, I just keep sleeping!

You make some of the most amazing paintings I have ever seen.... When we do have our first child, I hope you're still doing what you do best (besides raising children of course) to paint one for us! :-)
