I'm needing some blog love . . . .

I'm really stressing over this one!! It is to match this one, except the client wanted a robin's egg blue instead of the baby blue like you see in the original one. EASY - I know exactly what color she wants!! Until it comes time to paint it!! I mixed a kazillion colors to create what I got! And I still don't know if it is true "robin's egg blue"!!
Sooo, here is the scoop - I've got sooo many coats of paint on this canvas she is going to have to use the biggest nail she can find or hang it on a stud! It wouldn't surprise me if the paint just falls off the canvas in one giant {and thick} sheet because it is sooo heavy!! You guys probably think I'm kidding - well, I'm not!

Saying all that - I really don't think it is possible to put anymore paint on the canvas without it looking like a blob of a mess!! If I had to add paint everywhere else it would work - but the canvas is technically complete!
I just want to know if I should start completely OVER {uhhhggg, I would sooo hate to hear that - but I do want the truth!} OR does it look like "robin's egg blue"???? Truth folks - I need the TRUTH!!

Hey Kim, it looks beautiful. In my head, I'm thinking Robin's Egg blue has more green in it. Check out the blog restyledhome dot blogspot dot com. I think she's a big fan of robin's egg blue.

With that said, I think only the client can tell you if it's the color she's looking for. It's all so subjective.

Courtney - your sooo right!! Like I said - I knew what color I needed but once I started looking at all the blue choices - ahhhh it started running together!

I did check out the restyled blog - that is robin's egg blue for sure!! I should have posted a question as to where I could find the color before I started on it!!! That way I could have matched to it!!

Looks like Robin's Egg blue to me. Of course I am no expert on robin's eggs. Hmmm..

It looks pretty close to what Southern Living at HOME calls Robin's egg blue; do you know the Tuscan pieces? Anyhow, don't start over until the person sees it and then just ask them if it is right and then, if it is not, then you could do it again (ughhhh, like you said). Just a thought. It is a beautiful painting none the less and good to show on the website.

I think it looks very Robin Egg but I would let the client see it. If she wants it a different color, offer to re-do it but I would let her decide. I think it looks great!

I love the new look of your blog! I chanced upon your "small words" site the other day while i was researching some of the sites that bludomain created (can't decide between the betsey and the juliet), and anyway, i love your stuff! Love your logo package, and matching blog too!
