Hooty-who!

Like normal, I'm late. With this post anyways! I'm hoping to get some sunshine in the next few days or get a professional over here to take some good shots! I love these OWLS! And I want good pictures to remember them by!

These are for Gracie. She really loves owls!

Her mom wanted all 4 to coordinate. I'll admit I was stuck for a time! Trying hard to find the direction to go. One night, the kids and I were here alone. After I had put them down, I fell asleep on the couch. Literally, the idea hit me so hard, it woke me up. I ran upstairs got all my "stuff," brought it back to the couch and started painting.

You can see a fat/horizontal stripe, fat dots, thin/vertical pin stripes and a harlequin pattern in a tone on tone pale pink on the background.

Each of the owl's tummies are also of the same designs.

And the borders are all different.

Tell me - what do you guys think??!?!!?

I'll definitely tell you what I think...it still amazes me, to this day, that you've had no professional paint "training" or classes. You are oh so very talented, Kim! Keep up the great, great job!

One of these days...I WILL find something for you to paint for me. I think I just need a baby...but that won't do for now. We'll have to wait! :)

These owls are adorable! My favourite elements have to be - the big-dot-small-dot inner border, the pale harlequin background and the polka dot belly.
