A is for Ava . . .

I didn't mean to drag out the last sneaky peeky - just time really got away from me this weekend. Sorry guys! So on to the long awaited piece {at least for 1 momma!!}

I love this bedding!! That is all I can say about it - LOVE IT! Seriously - how sweet and dainty can it get!

And she threw in a few things that have the pink background as well! Ahhh! The walls are a pale, soft pink - I'm pretty sure this room is perfect!

I had to step it up a notch for this one. I knew what she liked of other paintings - scalloped edge and the dot roses. But I couldn't just stop there, I added a few things. MY FAVORITE THING is barely visible when looking at pictures {and still barely there with the eye} but it is there!! Look hard at the white . . .

Can you see it?? It is there - promise. Very subtle . . .

You can see 1 in particular here . . . DOTS! Oh yeah, a tone on tone white. Like normal - I have to say - this is about 200 x's better in person! The pink has a pearly finish and is more pink - not HOT pinkish/reddish - the camera just can't catch the true image! {Which drives me NUTS!}

I will admit - this is my favorite right now! But I do love this bedding and want bedding like that for ME! Just don't quite think Lonnie would go for it.

This is a 24x24 that I'm now offering. I have so many of you that want big - I'm trying to oblige! But with crazy shipping charges . . . it makes it seem ridiculous to pay so much to get it to you! BUT I've been working on something - so if you do have a large size in mind that I do not currently offer, let me know and I'll see what we can come up with!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween. I'll try to post pictures of our day later! First I have to get this Halloween decor put up - I'm sick of looking at it!

Question {and I really want to know so leave a comment} - when do you set out your Christmas stuff?? Just curious!

Thanksgiving night!!! Love the "A"!

I usually plan to do it the first week of December, but do not remember ever managing it. So if I am lucky it is mid-december, if not (which happens ;-)) around 20th.

Love the new "A" for Ava.. You never cease to amaze me with your work!

I usually put out my Christmas the Friday after Thanksgiving. This year, my plans may have to wait because the Alabama/Auburn game is on that day. I know, I know.. what were they thinking putting the game on the BIGGEST shopping day, but we southern belles already have a plan!

Have a great week! Still praying for you and your family.

I work in theatre, and where I am now, we OPENED our annual Christmas show last night. That's right- while the rest of the world is saying "Happy Halloween" and trick or treating, we're celebating Christmas. It's a little crazy. But as for my personal Christmas time, I wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate my apartment.

Love the A!

Normally, I wait until the week of Thanksgiving to pull out the Christmas stuff but since that is when I am due w/ baby girl I considered pulling it out the 1st or 2nd week in Nov b/c I am afraid the decorations won't make it out if I don't do it before the baby arrives.

SO CUTE KIM!!! Yes, the bedding is totally me. I would have a whole room of it!
I usually put decorations up for Christmas the week before, and put away the day after. It's not that I don't love Christmas decorations, but it just feels too cluttered for me. That, I cannot handle!!!

First of all, I love your work, it is adorable. Now on to the Christmas questions. I would like to say that I do it right after Thanksgiving, but I'm a procrastinator. I'm going to make it a tradition, starting this year, to use the week of Thanksgiving to set things up. This year I have two tree AND I need to work on my Christmas village, plus I want to make a fake fireplace and an Advent calendar so I better get started early or I might be setting stuff up on Christmas Day...lol

Thanksgiving, after I have gotten home from visiting the folks. More than likely I will setup (or start) the day before Thanksgiving since I am staying in town this year. There is a small part of me that wants to start sooner but I am going to try and control myself!

We wait until the first Sunday of Advent (Nov. 29th this year) to put up a smattering of decorations. But we leave the big stuff until Christmas Eve, that way it makes Christmas day feel that much more special. We also leave it all up until Epiphany (Jan 6th). However, that is my due date for baby #2...so we'll see how it goes. :)

The A looks great...but they all look great. You're clearly talented. :)

I'm a freak! I usually already have my Christmas stuff up by this point, but for some reason this year I've waited...but it will be up by the end of the week! :) I LOVE my Christmas decor (not to mention it's pricey when you sit back and add it all up) and I put it up as soon and as long as possible!!!

The day after Thanksgiving!! I love putting up seasonal decor so I love even more putting the old stuff away. My Halloween and Thanksgiving stuff was exchanged by 8 a.m. (if I wasn't so tired last night I would had done it then.)

My mom always did it the Saturday after Thanksgiving, once the Turkey and the relatives were gone. I think that's what my husband and I will do this year, too. Last year, I decorated the apartment November 1, because it was quiet and kind of lonesome and I was anxious to use my stuff!
