As promised . . .

**added**

A little sneaky peeky for someone who has been waiting forever! Yes, this would be the piece of art that was damaged and I had to start over from scratch. But it is done! whoo-hoo!

I'll show the full piece tomorrow. I friend of mine showed me some new settings on the camera and I'm still messing with it! Just what I needed - a new something to tinker with!

Update of the happenings around here - after yesterday's post, I was contacted by who I was referring to. She was very sincere in her email and I will now move on. I know that some of you were very understanding of my post and a few were shocked. For those who support me, thanks a bunch. I really appreciate the understanding. And since I'm sure I lost a few readers yesterday, well . . . . there is really no need to say anything to them because they shouldn't be reading today. Right?

**I've said numerous times on my blog that I love the work I'm getting and appreciate it dearly! ESPECIALLY in times such as these! But I feel that it is beginning to sound redundant and just an add on in each post. So I'm sorry if anyone felt that I was being ungrateful in the past several posts for all the work that I've spoke about. I also want everyone to know that with 4 small children and alot of work to do, I don't live in a positive light 100% of the time. I feel I'm entitled to a bad moment or a bad day. It's just me and who I am.**

darn straight you're allowed to have a few not 100% positive days! the fact that you still love what you do even when it gets stressful just goes to show how much this IS YOUR art and something you were meant to do. I'm glad you feel at peace about it now and as always, the sneak peak is beautiful~

Kim, I just ran across this quote the other day from Dr. Suess. “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

I love seeing what you come up with and am always so excited when I actually get to see one in person! You are so talented and I am continually impressed with your talent. And I would love to see one human being out there that is completely upbeat and has a wonderful day every day - they must be on some sort of mood altering drug...

Kim,

Your post yesterday was great. I can't believe that someone is stooping to that low level! And everyone is entitled to some bad days but from where I sit you manage yours quite nicely! Keep up the good work!

You were honest in your feelings. If that causes you to lose readers, then maybe you didn't need them. It's unfortunate for people in the blog world to stop reading because someone isn't 100% positive, all the time. If we can't be honest, why blog?

best advice i have ever received..was [don't laugh] from my therapist! he taught me that it takes way too much effort to try and be perfect.. or to please everyone all the time. this is so true! so, don't apologize for being human hun.

btw.. love the sweetness of the new peeky!

happy valentines day!
blessings,
Tracie

I think you're doing just fine. I completely understood yesterday's post and I don't blame you.

I'm really glad, however, that she's fessed up {assuming there}.

I can't wait for my "sneaky peaks". I'm sorry for all you've gone thru in the last few days. I think you handled it well!! From one parent of multiple children with special needs to another - hang in there!!! Lori

We all have bad days now and then...it's life. You vent and then you move on. No big deal.

Have a great Valentine's Day!

Girlie Girl
You say what you need to say here. It is YOUR blog and if you can't vent to your friends then who can you vent to ? Seriously !! I like that you have the guts to tell it like it is.
I had no idea what was going on and I thought you were just too busy to answer my questions about paints and types of canvas you use. Now I understand why you would be hesitant to respond.
I understand totally. I shouldn't have asked. But geeeeez who would have thought someone would want to copy the work of another.
Anywho...
I only paint for me and my family. Yes, I get too attached to let them stray too far.
BTW I have never taken an art/painting lesson either. I am sure they would tell me I am doing everything the wrong way and then painting wouldn't be fun anymore.

You know I almost had a heart attack thinking that SP was for me until I realized that wasn't either of girls' names. HA! Love it!

Best advice I ever got was - do not apologize - you are human. There are enough blogs out there that blow sunshine up....well you know what I mean. I like a little spunk - makes us know you are real! Take care.

Kim, as a mother of three boys, four if you count the hubby and a business owner, we are entitled to groan every now and then. I would much rather read a blog that is honest than one that paints a rosey picture! Just because we get overwhelmed with the back log of orders, doesn't mean we aren't grateful for them!! After all, we are only human. Hang in there.
