. . . a slow and painful death after I show you all the final outcome of this table!
For now I only have a sneaky peeky {because I'm not quite done!}
But my Nannie is going to have my hide because I painted it! Although it was painted brown in the first place!! After I had saved my pennies, I talked to the guy who has refinished some things for me in the past. He told me it wasn't worth refinishing!?
I'll explain the details when I post the final picture! But let's face it - this is my style anyways! {And my budget!!}

Kim, i think it's fantastic! it already is showing off the beauty of the piece much better than a flat, normal paint job. :D
I think it looks fabulous from here! Your Nannie will love it! Ugly wood isn't good wood! ;)
Ooh... I am already in love with it! Can't wait to see the finished table.
Oh yes, I just love that look already! Totally me!
I can't wait to see the finished product! I love it already!
I love the painted table...but then again....I love paint! I did a post for you today. I shared my colors with all of you. Enjoy!
I am loving the distressed white finish....GORGEOUS! I can't wait to see the complete project!
Did you ever decide what to do with Em's dresser? Go here to see similar dressers made-over:

I have two pics at home that I can send you the links to -- one in hot pink and one in orange. Higloss paint really makes these pop. My sister and I had this bedroom suite growing up, so I LOVE seeing it redone with a modern twist.
Wow!! I can't wait to see the finished product:) I have some older peices that I could do this to, please post your instructions! Happy New Year!!
i cant wait Kim!
