You know the economy is bad when . . .

magazines stop publications! I got one of those postcards {AGAIN!} from Martha . . . . Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion will be no longer!!! Boo hoo! And you know, that happened to me last year with Blueprint {Martha Stewart's mag} - that was the BEST magazine ever - gone forever! How depressing! Waaaa!

Okay, I'm sure my stat counter went through the roof with someone hitting refresh a bunch of times to see if I had updated today with her sneaky peeky! Sorry, been really busy up to this point!

I decided to give you a couple of peekies!

I'm thinking you will possibly see the rest tomario! Just maybe!

Guess what we ate for supper tonight? Seriously . . . we had that for supper! Because I'm one of those moms.

Laws - the one who will eat mostly anything couldn't get enough!

Carson was raised in a barn - he really does eat cake {and ice cream} this way?! Don't ask . . . . because I have no idea.

And a miracle happened! Hudson tried it! WoW! He really wanted to eat the sprinkles because he thought you "were not suppose to!" Remember, he really won't eat food - but he loves to eat play-doh and paints! Yeah, I'm proud! Jeez!

And like normal, the camera comes out and we get these shots every time . . . .

I swear this is the smile she gave me when I said, "Emsley, say cheese!" What a ham!

I know how you feel about your little guy trying food. My dd 3 and a half has a eating disorder. We did the food therapy thing for about 3 months when she was one. It helped but everyday is a struggle. But she tried NOODLES, the other day and ASKED for more. The little things can make us so happy.

Love the picture of the baby, to stinkin cute!

Great pics of your kids. Can't wait to see the painting....Where do you get your canvases? I love how the side is larger than "normal" that I find at Michael's or art supply.

I can't believe Mary Engelbreit's magazine is going to be no more:( I love that magazine. What to do? Oh well, I really enjoy your blog. You have cute kids. Have a great day and God bless!

Well I can see the cupcakes.....rather the sprinkles...all 3 kinds? went over well. Did Emsley like her cupcake papers. LOL! That smile is absolutely hilarious. Wanna talk about personality...she's got it! I like the highlights man...love them on the dots.

I'm one of those mom's too. My daughter has faired well with the occasional bowl of ice cream or cookies for breakfast. She doesn't like cupcakes or I would have tried that one. Sometimes you just don't feel like cooking!

I'm sad about Blueprint too. I know the economy's bad and all, but wouldn't that give more people time to read mag's??? Hmm???

Btw, I love your blog!!!

Can't wait to see the finished product...you're adding to my gray hair here, lol!

Who said cupcakes aren't right for supper? You've got your egg product, wheat, some dairy, throw in the sugar for the sprinkles and frosting...heck ya! We've been known to just have ice cream around here. Sometimes you just have to break those rules and be a supermom.

i am feeling really stupid right now! i emailed you about how much i love your artwork and then i commented on your blog yesterday becasue i read more of your blog but apparently i didnt type in the stupid code word - where was my brain - so it didnt post!! so i ma going to try this again! i couldnt sleep and so i was reading some of your past blogs and i am so moving next door to you so you can show me how to do all that you do with the furniture redos!!! i LOVE to paint, distress, remake a piece of old furniture into my own! i ususally have to do most of it in the summer(since we homeschool) but i will hit the thrift stores and yard sales and it will sit around until i can fix it up and find it a home!! i am so gonna be emailing you with a gazillion questions about the whole vaseline trick come summer!
you have mentioned pottery barn kids a couple times and i wanted to mention Land of Nod to you to check out for bedding and whatnot or ideas. they are somewhat similar to PBK but sometimes they will have something worth checking out!
keep doing what you do!!!

I remember that mag. It was cute. I miss it as well. And who said cupcakes aren't for dinner. I haven't read that in the bad mommy handbook.
