It has been one of those days . . . . . and I'm over it! Seems like I ran into idiots all.day.long. I was basically finished with another painting and it got damaged . . . . . messed up so bad that I have to start over! From scratch. Trash the original. Can't even recycle the canvas in any way. I'm bummed. In a bad way. It wasn't my fault. It wasn't even my kids' fault {that's amazing - I can normally always blame one of the five of us!} It was a friend. I know it was accidental - but I'm hacked at the situation anyways.
You want to know why?? I'll tell you why . . . . as of this very moment . . . {wait for it}. . . . I have 99 canvases to paint. You read right - 99. Not necessarily 99 orders, because some are sets - but 99 none the less. I don't have time to REDO a painting! And instead of starting over, I'm venting about it on the blog . . . . only because I know the person who trashed the canvas {by accident} doesn't use the computer - I so don't want to hurt her feelings, but "uuggggghhhh!" I'm so stinkin' frustrated.
There has been some other stuff that happened today too - no point in hashing it all out!
Well, the hubs has just come in to help with backgrounds! I guess I need to dry it up and move forward . . . . maybe I'll laugh about this one day {as I roll my eyes!}
My goal is to finish quite a few this weekend - so you might not see me until Monday! Have a good weekend!

Good luck with redoing the painting and with all 99! That's amazing! I wish I had 99 paintings to paint (well, maybe just 9...) Don't go too crazy, I'm sure you'll survive!
Sorry about your bad day. I had one of those days on Wednesday and then I went to work out only to discover that Curves was closed because of the bad weather. I was completely tired of dealing with idiots.
I know what it's like to have the kids trash a few! Thank goodness your hubby will help, don't know if mine would. And while it's frustrating(believe me I know), be thankful for all those orders...I'm slow right now and would love lots of orders. Good Luck and can't wait to see some sneeky peeks!
Hey Kim, Sorry to hear of your bad day. I have to tell you that as I was reading about your paintings, the story of the Lord leaving the 99 to go after the one, immediately came to mind. As you go after the one that was lost, the 99 are your assurance. They (these 99 or the next 99) will be your reminder of God's continued provisions. Blessings, Susan
Susan is one "with it" lady...concentrate and rejoice in her words, girl!!! You are blessed to know what an idiot is, what frustration is, and what hard work is...Jesus knew, too.
Listen to Susan. And you can also pretend you're the little engine that could. You know the story- I think I can, I think I can...
I KNOW you can!!!
Oh, I am so sorry! I hope tomorrow is better. Take Care.
Just take a deep breathe and allow God to help you get thru all your work. It's a blessing that you have it. Remember always have a thankful heart, and above all else RELAX!! I'll say a little prayer for ya. I hope you don't mind, after all we don't even know each other, but I'll send a prayer up anyway.
Kim, in the grand scheme of things, you have been through much worse, and have come through to the other side beautifully! Just take a deep breath and have FAITH that everything will work out!
So sorry about your bad day!
:D
That stinks!! Nice that your DH can help you out, though. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...
oh...when time is crunched, little things like that can put you over the edge...but just think 99? Wow - you are one successful lady
WOW! You are one busy girl! But we knew that already! You have so many sweet readers, and all the comments above me made me smile {or giggle} hope they did the same for you!!!
When I saw your status on Facebook, I was gonna ask about it, but I just knew it'd be in a blog if I was patient!
Sorry about your bad day! That really sucks!!! Hope today is better! :o)
Holy Moly - 99?! I was thinking of placing an order for someone due in May. I guess I ought to get on that, huh?!
Smile! I love you!
glad you got to vent about it all.. that always helps. good luck with the mountain you have left!
You go girl! Wow - I can't imagine havin 99 to do! Do you ever share your technique? How do you get your lines so smooth? I tried painting a stool for my neice for her birthday, and it turned out awful!
could you promise to share pictures of all 99?!?! (I know that means adding to your load but I just love seeing what you've come up with and what people are getting to add to their homes...)
