I'm actually working on two right now - but I only took a picture of one! Sorry - shoot me! This one is like no other that I've done! This should have all of your curiosity peaked!
On another note, a miracle happened today. Sure proof that there is a God above and he watches down on us and He wraps his arms around us when we need it. At 6:44 this evening, Hudson took his diaper off, walked to the potty chair {that sits in our living room like it belongs there,} had a seat, looked down as his winky and peed. Without prompted! Did you read what I just typed?? My 3 {and 1/2} year old PEED in the potty! On his own. Just walked over to it and did it! I thought I was going to pass out from the pure excitement. I think I caused myself brain damage, because I'm sure I went for 4 minutes without breathing! Then I laughed, I cried, I jumped up and down - Yes, I was really excited! I have seen the light at the end of the tunnel! There might be a chance, that eventually, I will only be buying diapers for 3 kids {instead of 4!}

Hi Kim, that is so exciting. You will probably see that they will all follow on easily. I have 2 little girls and I didn't do any potty training the second time round. (We didn't even have a potty for her) On her own, she just climbed on to the toilet, wanting to be like her big sister.
P.S. can't wait to see the rest of your work!
Praise God that is so exciting! Wow... praying Jasper does that!
YAY!!! I am so excited for you!!!
can't wait to see the rest of the painting!! :)
Yay! I know how you feel. Been there and done that with my now senior and junior in high school. But, I get to do it again! Now waiting for my almost 3 year old to decide he is ready! So liberating for them and for us!!!I can tell you it is not something I am "working on". He will be ready when he is ready, period. I see things SO differently this time around being 45 tomorrow as opposed to being 27 back then with the first two. I am definetly more at ease with myself and my decisions about child rearing!
What a fun picture of your son...so cute!!!

p.s. Come over to my giveaway..would love to have you!
Congrats on the potty going!
And beautiful sneak of the painting... can't wait to see the entire thing! I love how you traced the lines with the opposite color for an extra special touch! :)
Hooray on the potty training! That's a big step especially since he initiated on his own. My kids never did which I think ended up making the whole process longer than it needed to be.
Congratulations to you and Hudson! What a great feeling, and I'm sure your elation only fueled his fire for wanting to please you like that more and more!
Hooray for Hudson!
Yes girlfriend, there is life after diapers!
It's so funny how we all have little nicknames for their teensy weensy little privates.
When my boys were really little I decided that I would call it by it's proper name. My son said, "Oh, my peanut." It was a peanut for ever more.
Hi,
I am Jane Hamilton, over at Ad Libitum (my blog). Your son is adorable. I have a one and half year old daughter, and I dream of diaper-free days too...
My interest is officially peaked on that pretty thang!! Love the brown!
YAY for Hudson!!! (AND yay for MAMA!!)
Woo hoo Hudson!!! Keep it up! Can't wait to see that whole painting. Like those colors together.
Go Hudson!!!!! You make your momma proud!!!
Way to go ;)! I think you acted appropriately. Only one question...did you get a picture?
Way to go Hudson!!!
Congrats on that milestone. It's all about them WANTING to do it on their own! Hope it continues.
YAY for going pee-pee in the potty!!
Can't wait to see the rest of the painting...love the brown.
YAY! That's Awesome. I also have a 3 1/2 year old. We just recently started wearing "BIG BOY Pants". It's tough! Potty Training is HARD! Well, it's hard for me!
Can't wait to see the new canvas!
Congratulation! It is a big day!

Yeah for Hudson! Luckily it just clicked with Courtney at 18mos and thank God I was working part-time and my friend was watching Logan when we were trying to get him to go to the potty. I am a terrible potty trainer!!!
Yay...Pee pee in the pottay! That reminds me of the movie with John Travolta (SEXY) Look Whos Talking.
Cant wait to see his finger paintings! ;)

glad to here that the potty got some use!! sometimes they just have to go at their own pace (no pun intended) even though it's beyond exaggerating for us moms. been in your shoes. had our son trained at 1 1/2 years then he had to spend sometime in the hospital and it all went down hill till he was 3. good luck!
Yay for Hudson!!
