Just a sneaky peeky, how is Hudson, Thanksgiving and the meaning of this blog!

I feel bad for not showing the whole picture! Sofia's mom has been waiting some time to see this one! And I'm actually finished with it {except for the final sealer} but it's so dark and gloomy, I know that there is NO WAY I could get a good picture - so maybe tomorrow!!

Talking about MEAN! Sorry, that is what a sneaky peeky is about = TORTURE! tee hee!

Hudson is "kind of" better - I say that because the medicine he is on is making him crazy. Which in return is making the other three kids crazy! Which makes me crazy! {My husband was already crazy - so he fits in around here now!} Other than that there is absolutely no changes to tell about, but I will surely keep you all posted!

Thanksgiving was great! And no one ended up in the hospital after my cooking {or atleast they didn't tell me if they did!} I've decided that "sweet broccoli salad" is one of my new favorite foods! Was someone trippin on acid when they came up with that recipe or what?! Who in their right mind would have combined broccoli, raisins and sunflower seeds??? And then mix it up in some weirder concocted sauce?! But how great is it!? Love it! I think I made 12 dishes total! I'm still eating left-overs {My favorite part of Thanksgiving!}

And the reason for my blog . . . . It is about me and my business. My business could be "small words" or it could be my "personal business" - hence the web address "kimwheeler.blogspot.com". I've gotten awesome response to the "blog of note" - and have had very few negative comments. But when I get one that states,

"Get over yourself! And that applies to all your vapid vacuous admirers too. And please stop cluttering the world with more crap! What is it with you people?"
I have to wonder why you read 3 different posts before you left that comment - apparently you saw something that interested you?! Was it my wit? My charm? Maybe my vain self? I know, it was my rockin' hair-do! Of course this is only a small piece of his comment. And he actually left his named that linked to his blog . . . . that so happen to have the comments disabled . . . . Nice.

Now what could his blog be about if it wasn't about him?

Warsaw.

That makes me want to visit! Maybe I'll look him up if I ever go to Poland.

Come on - What is it with "YOU" people - Don't be rude!!!

I bet his momma is proud!

I don't wanna be one of those people, but here are a few corrections to your grammar, or more specifically, your confusion between is and are : Hudson is "kind of" better - I say that because the meds he is on is are making him crazy. Which in return is making the other three kids crazy! Which makes me crazy! {My husband was already crazy - so he fits in around here now!} Other than that there is are absolutely no changes to tell about, but I will surely keep you all posted! ps- great blog and I hope Hudson stays on the fast-track to a full recovery!

Thanks "aclockworkchild" - I changed it to the corrected version. I guess that is what I get when I shorten a word like medicine - b/c actually he is only taking 1.

Leave it to a guy to leave that comment! Those of us who are women, moms and crafty think you rock! Love the blog! Big hugs to Hudson for a quick recovery!

Hey Kim,

I got some great advice from a bloggy friend when someone left mean comments on my blog (someone got mad because I said I wouldn't pay to see New Kids on the Block nowadays and she tore me up one side and down the other). My friend told me to just delete their comments, ignore them, and pretend they never happened. She said it would give the meanie satisfaction and start a "word war" between us and it would attract other jerks, too. I don't know if this is what is happening to you - maybe there is some kind of "jerk-network" out there where they all email each other about who to irritate.

Truth is they're losers if they can't find anything better to do than leave ugly comments on peoples blogs.

Glad to hear Hudson is doing better! Hope the craziness gets better soon!

And black and pink?? I'm DYING to see this one!

Wow...you've made it big girl! Not only do you have random strangers correcting your grammar...you also have them commenting on your eyes---nice! Glad to see you are just the way you are---love you!

I just ran across your blog recently (don't remember how) and I love it! Don't change a thing. I blog for me and me only. If someone else wants to read, fine. If not, don't. That is my philosophy. Keep up the good work!

Poor people who feel that they have to be so rude. I just don't get it. I haven't had broccoli salad in foreer but everyone keeps talking about it lately- I may need to make a trip to my SIL's who makes it, I haven't tried my hand at it yet. My little girl was on some medicine once that made her near crazy. I couldn't believe when I saw that it was an actualy side affect. My pediatrician got an earful. Good luck- and I hope he gets better quickly so he can get back to normal soon. Oh and I love you and your work you are so awesome and I worship the ground you walk on that is why I am trying to keep myself as busy as you kid wise!! ;) (that's for the mean ones)

I'm not believing people even take the time to write crap like that on sites -- you rock, always will.

Sending you a little 'pick me up' -- saw it and said 'THAT IS KIM WHEELER!' .... plus the other thing I have for ya b/c I'm a big 'ol loser ....

Love ya!

Lacy said...

Well, I think you know how much I love ya...and apparently many others!!!! What a bunch of mularchy??? (Is there such a word?) What a waste or his and your time! You can clutter my world with all you want Kim. I love it all!

Allison said...

Kim, remember when we were little girls in grade school and some mean boy with grubby fingernails was always pulling our pigtails, calling us names and lobbing spitballs at us? They did it because they LIKED us. He just secretly loves you and can't deal with it. And as far as grammar goes, blogs are meant to be web diaries--unless we are writing for WSJ, grammar need not be perfect. Save that ideology for a website. Everybody needs to just sit back, relax, take a breath and enjoy one another's online company.

I'm glad Hudson is getting better! It's hilarious that his medicine makes him crazy! I'm glad everyone survived Thanksgiving! That salad sounds interesting. I'm not a lover of broccoli, or I'd try it! Some people just like to pee in everyone's cheerios! Don't worry about him!

Oh, you are so mean showing a little bitty tidbit of that piece! Please show us the rest? Please?

Sorry about the goofball who left that comment. He obviously doesn't get how fabulous you are. Nor does he understand the concept of KINDNESS, apparently.

Don't let it get to you. WE all love you!!

I found your blog through blogs of note and love it. The work you do is gorgeous. Sorry that blogs of note happened to bring you some unpleasant people. Just know there are a lot more of us out there that appreciate your work and your blog.

Add me to another blog of note stalker. I've added you to my "blogs I follow" because I love your work & enjoy seeing what you & your lovely little family are up to.

I would also like to second that you could do better with you time than getting into a war of words with MORONS (yeah, I am going to say that with my outside voice). Delete their comments & don't bring yourself to their level.

You are too bright & talented to waste your time.

hey,
im new here and i just found your blog.
youre art work is really amazing and its impressive how you can do that and raise four (i think...?) kids and run a house!
I live with just my mum and shes had to work full-time for alot of my life, so we really help each other out around the house and when one is stressed and tired the other one takes over.
youre a really amazing person!

Hey will have to look into the salad. I love broccoli.

If people are going to be rude in their comments, maybe they should be kicked out. People do not have to agree but they should be polite to each other.

I wonder if that guy you were commenting about knows that these comments are like on the internet forever. Believe you me, it is best to be safe.

Hi there, I'm just a passerby blogger on your site and happen to read your last post.

Love your blog. Don't sweat that guy's comments, he just has to rain on your parade because it is raining on his. You are a wonderful person. I read your blog at my old job and lost it. Thanks to the Nester for putting it on her blog. Nice to catch up with you.

jennybear said...

I just started to follow your blog...you are so talented!! Awesome!
Glad to hear Hudson is doing better.
And the mean comments you get?...they are just from people that are jealous, jealous, jealous of you. And I'm sure they are just miserable, grouchy, unhappy people that have nothing better to do with their days than come on and try to bring others down. Why else do people feel they have to write things like that? They could just read/look and not leave a comment if they didn't like it, but no, they have to try to make you feel bad so they can feel better about themselves...a bit warped in their thinking, I guess.
Anyway, you just keep on doing as you are and the rest of us will just keep on reading/looking and appreciating what you do. Take Care!! : )
