Another one of those moments . . .

It's been a few days. I've been having some issues with my email {thanks comcast!} So, I've just tried to avoid the computer all together. If you have emailed me, I just got into it today - so, I promise to get back to you within the next day or so.

All three boys started Mom's Day Out today. I was a basket-case. Hudson really has had issues the past 2 years he went. What can I say, I must just be the fun-time parent and he really likes to be up my hiney! I mean, wouldn't you? Just kidding and please don't answer that! Seriously, the first year was just a rough one, but his teachers were wonderful and worked with him. The second year {last year} was even rougher! How could that be, you ask?! I don't know. It just started off bad. Especially when I was told, "maybe he isn't ready for this program" by someone in a leadership role. Okay, so he was okay to be here last year, but not this year? Where did you get your degree from? That is the stupidest thing I'd ever heard! And actually because of that one comment, it pains me to give this place my money - but overall it has a rockin' curriculum so we stuck through it. I hate to tell them, if they wanted to get rid of me, they shouldn't have made such a comment - we had to prove them wrong! Now, if I really thought he was "unhappy" - oh, you better believe I would have pulled him out in a heart beat. But when your kid is at home doing imaginary play of what happened at school earlier that day - trust me, he's not unhappy. He's hacked off because I wouldn't buy into his little plan of pulling his crying butt out and taking him back home!

Poor Hudson is nothing but quirky - BUT I look in the mirror everyday and see the same quirks! haha!!

But this year, not only did I have 1 kid going but 2 more. I was sweating before I got out of the van. I'll just cut to the chase - All 3 did exceptional. We have Awesome teachers this year! Hudson was so stoked about going and Carson and Lawson were just happy to get out of the house! Don't be fooled - they all had momentary break downs - but they were happy when I came to pick them up! Thank goodness and praise the Lord! I don't know if I could have handled 3 crying kids . . .

Glad they had a great first day. That always makes it easier to leave when you know they are happy.

It's always nerve-wracking the first day/week. Then the kids realize "hey this is fun." Glad they all did well & yeah for you!

Just remember - there is a "phase" for everything.
Little people = little problems and as they grow the problems seem to grow. In many ways it is much easier and then in others harder, like imagining my twins driving....!

Gurlllll, my Charles had a VERY rough time! He got the perfect teacher to see him through and as you said that support makes all the difference in the world. Glad to hear things went well :) Hey, Charles got me kicked out of the YMCA (there is a good excuse for not working out!) by goodness my mind was made up he was going to preschool!!! lol!
