for Maggie . . .

This painting was ordered as a gift. I was told that the bedding was a pink and white toile with butter yellow walls. The uneven diamonds are pearlized white & pink, with painted lemonade-yellow buttons at each point. It made a great addition to the room!!!

Thanks Rachel for the pics.

For lil' Miss Sydney Jane . . .

Syd - girl you were my inspiration for the most popular painting!! Okay - so this is my original "dot" painting. I probably do this color scheme and font the most. A pearlized & light shade of yellow on the background, the dots are a lemonade like color with random red stitches (yes - I actually thread satin ribbon through the canvas!!), red grosgrain ribbon around the outer edge and a red name. Love it and who wouldn't!!!
Thanks Jenn for the picture... (I need Mac's next!!)

For Lizzie . . .

Lizzie's painting was too fun to design. Her mother kinda gave me free will to do whatever I wanted - and I'm glad she did. The only thing she asked is for it to be BIG (24 x 36 to be exact.) The style is perfect for this room and soon to be kindergartner. As long as her bedroom colors stay somewhat the same, she will be able to use this for YEARS to come. (Ashley - did you hear me - as long as her colors stay somewhat the same . . .) The 3 dimensional, turquoise, flowers with tiny rhinestones add a perfect touch. But the edges take the cake. (Look on my website in the simpatico collection to see the full detail.) I layered a thin, beaded, turquoise ribbon on a turquoise corduroy ribbon. It was a little bit of a pain to work with, but the overall effect is gorgeous. Totally worth it!!

For Jaxson . . .

The dot paintings are one of the original styles that I started with. They are still one of the most popular today. Jaxson's 12 x 24 painting matches his whimsy fish bedding. Randomly, some of the circles have a dusting of fine glitter.

For Maddox . . .

The 12 x 24, gallery-style canvas, replicates Pottery Barn bedding. The stripes consist of pearl white, a light blue and a few shades darker blue. The name is painted in a chocolate brown. I saw this one personally in the room . . . it's a dead on match!!!

For Maddie Grace . . .

This mother had a very specific idea in mind. The 16x20, crowned "M" turned out GREAT and I have since sold several letters just like this one. Thank you Miss Maddie Grace, I think you (& your mom) have incredible girlie girl taste & I love it (and I'm jealous - I don't think any of my boys would appreciate this design!!!)
