When you have an exta 20 minutes, . . .

you whip up this!!!! Literally, only about 20 minutes!! The bow took longer to make (and attach) than the actually painting took!! I must say, I was amazed at how perfect it matched the shower curtain you see on the right. The funny part, It wasn't intended for this bathroom, but another. Jennifer said that she needed a painting of some type with a touch of purple to hang above the potty in her girls' bathroom. But it works SO MUCH BETTER in the playroom bathroom. So I'm back to the drawing board for the original spot!!!

With all that is going on and I sign up for a sweet and sinister swap. But I'm SOOOO excited!! Check out the details here - I love checking out this blog - arsty mama. She does so many fun things through her blog. She just seems to be so cool and artsy!!! hehehehe!! If I just could have some of her creative brain cells, the world would be a dangerous place!! But anywho, I've been a spectator way too long and decided to jump in and give this a whirl. I know of a few of you out there would love to do this too!! Matter of fact a really do have a couple of you in mind!! So, sign up with me (or don't - chickens!!) Pink and Yellow - I've always loved this color combination . . .

I love the way the light reflects off the shiny "magic scraps" (that is what they are actually called?!) - it looks like water reflecting!!! This one turned out adorable!!

This painting was so fun to make, but the hanger it is on really takes the cake!! I love to see where these paintings end up!! This is a great idea!!! And I LOVE the painted knotty pine wall . . .

Guess what Fedex brought me today . . .

Uhmmm, a chandelier I bought off ebay . . . hahahahaha!!! I still think the seller is a WANKER!! He didn't mail it out till the 17th, and he said he mailed it on the 13th!!! So, I would have gotten it before I sent the "frank" email (that he NEVER responded to) if he had mailed it when he said he did. But it is soooo BEAUTIFUL!! And here is the picture that Rachel requested!!! I will definitely change out those ghetto bulb sleeves to uhh - white. You can tell a straight man picked out those original sleeves!! Easy fix - don't you love it?!?!?!

A little confession - if baby 4 is a girl - this was bought originally for HER room!! But if not - it will go in "MY" big girl room. But we are not going to think about that right now, I've got 11 more weeks to go!!

Why ebay is so uncool . . .

Okay - so I bid on and won the COOLEST tole chandelier in the world (thinking it will look super fabulous in my fun room!!!) For real folks, I stayed up till 2 in the morning and came in the last 5 seconds and won the light fixture. That was over 2 weeks ago, and I still ain't go my chandelier!! I emailed this dork after waiting for a week and he told me "his warehouse has to make sure that the light fixtures have all their parts before they are shipped off" - well duh?!?! It supposedly was missing the matching chain and plate (the part that affixes to the ceiling.) Anywho - this big dummy then said that it would be shipping out on the next business day.

So again, I waited a week, UPS came with other stuff but never with my beautiful, tole chandelier!!! So I emailed the stupid seller again - he said that "he would have a tracking number for me later that day and thanks for my patience" - did he ever send me a tracking number - NO!!!!

So, Sunday night I emailed him a FRANK message that simply told him that if the light had not shipped by that day, I want a full refund. I couldn't help myself, but I also told him that some of the parts being missing has got to be one of the lamest excuses that I've ever heard. And that he should have made sure all the parts were there before he listed it on ebay!! And I also had to throw in that I also think that it is EXTREMELY RUDE when a buyer immediately pays for the item and the seller does not leave feedback!!! I can't stand that!! I mean - let's face it - I did my part - promptly - I bid, I won, I paid - all within a 3 minute period. What is he waiting on - for me to leave feedback for him first - what a dumb a**!!!

Needless to say, he has not contacted me and I did file a formal complaint with paypal and ebay. I hate that I'm not getting my groovy chandelier, but I got to get my money back - there is another one out there waiting for me to buy it!!!! I'm so over ebay - I've got to find a new source for some great finds!!

Lookie what I got today!!

I found a new website and I'm so in love!!! It's called Bay Berry Cove - and you guys have got to go check it out!! Look at how the package came to me!! Each individual piece was wrapped with a raffia ribbon tied around it. And look at what I got . . . for CHEAP!!!!



I think these little guys fit into my criteria for holiday decorating - "WACKY & TACKY"!!!! And I do love Halloween decor about as much as I love Christmas decor!! And I so have big plans for these little cuties!! There are others in this collection that I plan to collect!!
